I am back at playing Spycraft again, I submitted an Agency Organization many years ago, Joint Operations Group, and it was posted here, but I am trying to remember, how were these created? was it software? through the SC 2.0 database?

stumped.

Thank you all.

Welcome back! All organizations were created using the Spycraft Agency Database 2.0.

after some investigation, the path is not reading correctly to get to adobe.

so I no longer have reader 7.0.

how do I change this line:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe C:\Program Files\Spycraft Agency Database 2.0\PDF Documents\spycraft_2_basic_character_sheet.pdf

from Open Basic Character sheet TRUE RUN APP Macro?

Thanks for any help or if there's a workaround or what.

If you are just trying to access the Basic Character Sheet through the database, I would recommend just downloading the PDF of the Character Sheet. The Organization Reports are created in the database and when the Organization report is pulled up, you can right-click it and export as a PDF or other format. The Hard-Coded path to Adobe Reader 7 only applies to viewing the Basic Character PDF sheet and not the other reports that are generated in the database.

I'm trying to get to the interactive org sheets to make the spiffy organization pages.

I have reader 11, and it's not set in the default directory.

so when I log in as GC, and click lower left interactive org sheets: I get:

POPUP - ACTION FAILED

Macro Name: open interactive org
Condition: True
Action Name: Run app
Error 2950

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe C:\Program Files\Spycraft Agency Database 2.0\PDF Documents\spycraft_2.0_-_interactive_organization_sheet.pdf

I have since tried to copy my version 11 Acroread32.exe to the default 7 dir you've got but it still fails it, i think because the registration is wrong.

So, I'm just asking is there a registry value that I can change that will change the path of:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe?

When I try to install 7 to a seperate dir, adobe tells me you've got a better one, goodbye, etc, anf stops cold.

Understood. Quickest way is to just go to the PDF documents folder where they were installed and just open them with whatever PDF version you are using. The path is below.

Code:
C:\Program Files\Spycraft Agency Database 2.0\PDF Documents

If you want to be able to open the PDF's through the database, I can write you an update to change the macro configuration. You can just PM me the correct Adobe path to the version you are using. Let me know. Thanks.
